WOW!! What a whirlwind this past week and a bit has been for me! I apologize for this unexpected absence. My family and I decided that we wanted to list our beloved home for sale! This meant putting everything else aside and getting the house ready to be on the market. I’m happy (and exhausted) to say that the house is now listed and the showings have started! This also means that I can get back to my passion – sharing my love of stamping with you all!
Today is the best triple threat day for Stampin’ Up! ever!! From 11 am PST to 11 pm PST you can order from all 3 catalogues (see them here)!!! Yes, that’s right – you can order from the 2012-2013 Annual Catalogue (last day to order will be June 3), the 2013 Spring Mini Catalogue (last day to order will be May 31) AND the brand new 2013-2014 Annual Catalogue (first day to order will by May 31).
That’s not all – to celebrate the exciting launch of our new catalogue, we are having a sale on our three most popular greetings!
Sassy Salutations (Wood 132070 $21.71, Clear 126707 $16.46)
Sweet Essentials (Wood 132085 $18.71, Clear 126457 $13.46)
Petite Pairs (Wood 128706 $26.96, Clear 122497 $19.46)
AND that’s not all! How about a new Photopolymer Stamp Set?? It’s called Wanderlust (133452 $16.95)
Now onto showcasing some new products!!
Have you seen the new Simply Pressed Clay (130685 $8.95) yet on page 167 of the catalogue? It is amazing! Pair this clay with the Buttons and Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds (131272 $9.95) and create hundreds (yes, I said hundreds) of embellishments for your projects in ANY colour you want!!!
There are several ways to ‘colour’ the clay. You can simply roll the clay in your ink pad or add a drop of re-inker to the clay and then knead the colour through. However, for today’s project I have chosen to colour the clay AFTER I’ve molded it.
I’ve coloured it using two methods: colouring directly with my Many Marvelous Markers (131264 $135.95) and the second by using my Aqua Painters (103954 $20.95) to lift colour from my ink pads and then put it on the clay embellishments.
QUICK TIP: You will want to make sure your embellishments have properly air dried BEFORE handling and colouring!
I’ve added these embellishments to several 3 x 3 cards that I have created to send our with new catalogues to some of my customers!
For the cards, I’ve used the NEW Gingham Garden Washi Tape (129314 $6.50) and the Banner Greetings Hostess Set (Wood 129711 $12, Clear 129714 $10).
A note about Washi Tape… if you are anything like me, you were thinking what the heck is Washi Tape and do I really need it? Well, the answer is YES!! Washi tape is fantastic! How did I not know about this product before? It is so forgiving. It is quick and easy to use. It is fun and it is versatile. Do you really need any more reasons?
Now stop reading this ridiculously long post and get your order placed! Oh, and don’t forget to check back this weekend for my Top 10 New Catalogue must-haves!
